In case you wander why I had to patch a hole in tail - this is what happens when you decide to change shower for a bathtub (I will never buy a shower again).
Firs step was to clean surface around the hole and cut plastic part flush with the wall.
Then I used masking tape around the hole.
After that I got some silicon on it, and dipped a finger in liquid soap to smooth it out.
Removed masking tape, and was left with something that looked like that.
Once again I dipped my finger in liquid soap and smoothed it out.
This is what it looked like before cleaning the surface (I had to leave it for about 12 hours for silicone to cure).
Some people might say that:
- I should buy epoxy filler and paint matching color of a tile
- I should change whole tile
As for epoxy filler and paint it is quite expensive and I would rather change whole tile.
As for changing tile it is plasterboard wall and I did not want to risk that I will break it while removing the tile.
It looks much better now, does not let water to get inside and it did not cos me a cent (I already had masking tape and silicone).
Of course this might now work if you will not be able to find silicone matching color of a tile.

Laptop holder for armchair PELLO from ikea
If you live in small apartment and do not have space for designated computer desk you might want to consider laptop holder or laptop stand.
I have searched web for something that would suit my needs in reasonable price and I did not find anything interesting. So I have decided to make laptop holder for my ikea armchair PELLO.
I did not know will it work so decided to make it out of scrap wood laying around in my basement.
Here it is how it looks from side
As You can see at the back I made weird looking holder so it will not slide forward. In the front I added two small pieces of wood so it will not slide backwards. Whenever I want to take it of I lift front up and slide it backward.
Overall I am very happy with it and if I ever decide to make another one I will make it from solid wood (will not use any scraps).
To keep it all together I have used glue and screws. After glue have dried I remove screws and I am left with some nasty looking holes. Glue is holding it just fine so If you decide to make one do not use screws just buy a set of clamps and proper wood glue (or make some fancy wood joints like Japanese do).

How to fix broken induction hob
There is one decent method of fixing broken glass on induction hob - changing whole glass.
For those of you who do not want to spend 3/4 of original hob price just on glass there is method of temporary fix.
Before we begin I would like to state that I will not take any responsibility if something happens to you or your equipment after that repair.
Start of with buying clear RTV silicone adhesive and sealant which is called Pro Seal. As label states it: - withstands temperatures from -70 degree F (-56 degree C) up to 400 degree F (204 degree C), - provides a flexible, waterproof seal for metal, glass, vinyl, rubber and wood, - seals windshields and windows, insulates electrical fixtures and wires, plumbing leaks.
In order to fix it, first of all you need to clean it, degrease it, do not use water for it or you might get electrocuted.
Apply Pro Seal silicone to broken surface, and press it with your finger to insert it in the gap.
If you make mistake put too much or to little or go side ways wipe it of with paper towel and try again. Then wait few hours for it to cure (full strength is achieved in 24 hours). Bellow some pictures after fix, I know that it looks very bad but it works. I have been using induction hub sealed with Pro Seal for about three months and as far everything is fine.
I just want to mention that I am not working for company that made Pro Seal and I am not getting any money for advertising theirs products. I did find out about it from a friend who managed to seal roof in his car with it (it was leaking during heavy rains).
If you decide to use silicone to fix your induction stove please be careful and try not to spill anything on it.
